Who the hell are you?
Hi. I’m Matt. I’m a grad student in theoretical physics.
No last name?
I don’t want my blog to show up under the Google results for my real name. Not that I’m trying very hard to stay anonymous or anything; I just don’t want every take I’ve ever had to be easily discoverable.
If you’re still curious about me (why?), here’s the basic scoop: I grew up in a sparsely-populated state in the Mountain West, I majored in physics and computer science at large public university, and right now, I’m a PhD student working on quantum field theory. I like coffee, maps, politics, functional programming, and 20th-century literary fiction.
Who even has a blog in [current year]?
Me. And maybe a couple other people if you count Substack.
Can I follow you on social media?
I’m on Bluesky under the name “spontaneous symmetry breakdance”.
Is your name actually Matt?
Maybe.
Can I get Two Labyrinths in my inbox?
Not yet, but you can subscribe to the RSS feed.
Are you planning on adding comments?
Working on it.
Can I call it “2Lab”?
Sure.
